In the Norse creation story, Odin and his brothers Vili and Ve find the first humans and give them three gifts: Vili gives vitality and form, Ve gives the senses, and Odin gives breath. Read as body, mind and spirit (or the subconscious, waking consciousness and the superconscious), that threefold gift is the foundation of Odin’s Lots.
The set uses three eight-sided dice, each carrying one ætt (family) of the Elder Futhark: Fehu to Wunjo in white on black, Hagalaz to Sowilo in black on red, and Tiwaz to Othala in red on white. Each die speaks for one aspect: Vili, the hidden causes behind a situation; Ve, how you’re framing and engaging with it; and Odin, the higher insight and the path forward. Where each die lands on the Nine Worlds tray, and which way it points, deepens the reading.
Use it daily for reflection, or in focused sessions on a specific question or inner conflict. Paired with journaling or mindfulness practice, the runes reveal patterns beneath the surface and help you move forward with clarity.
